How JWT auth works

1Not signed in — Submit email + password. Firebase Auth handles sign-in on the client.
2Firebase returns JWT — ID token with uid, email, exp.
3Frontend sends token — Header: Authorization: Bearer <token>.
4Backend verifies — Firebase Admin SDK checks signature & expiry, decodes claims.
5Protected data — e.g. /api/users/me, /protected.
